Sille is a passionate design engineer with experience in project management and innovation processes from her entrepreneurial venture. She founded a start-up in London focused on using machine learning and AI for sustainable shopping solutions and advised start-ups on life cycle and circular design practises. Throughout her education, Sille honed her skills in project management, business development, innovation processes as well as stakeholder engagement. Sille has worked across the fashion, food and construction industry and is eager to apply her skills and expertise in the pharmaceutical industry as well. Having worked in Denmark, Norway and the United Kingdom Sille has developed strong communication and collaboration skills.
Developed a digital tool to assist the shift in consumer behaviour toward conscious consumerism. By utilising visual search and machine learning the tool provides look-a-like alternatives from vetted and verified sustainable vendors. Through prototype development, rigorous user testing and trend analysis, the tool was designed as a browser extension that works across any online shopping website. This entrepreneurial journey fostered skills in project and stakeholder management and a tried-and-tested patience with the complexity of digital product development.

Worked with various financial institutions and the โCentre for Climate Finance and Investmentโ to engage the younger generation in their finances. โPensions for Planetโ was a concept that offered an audited rating system and integrated platform providing trustworthy information about your pension. The mission was to empower the younger generation entering the job market to understand the value of their pensions and leverage their savings for sustainable development.

Worked on minimising the environmental impact of clothes washing by challenging existing water-based cleaning methods. The system replaces traditional water-based washing with a tumble dry process using proprietary cleaning pods. By eliminating water, and focusing on a chemical process while understanding and embracing the human and emotional factors of โcleaningโ the solution comprises of a device as well as chemical pods which eliminates odours and bacteria.

Developed an instructional, strategic and inspirational manual for activists across the Danish environmental and climate movement. By employing participatory design methods, creative project planning and viewing the movement as a social force, the project aimed to actively contribute to the movement by mobilizing citizens and strengthening the movement. The project, which involved the 12 largest NGOโs in Denmark fostered skills in mediation and collaboration.
