Søren Wamsler Christiansen

Summary

Søren has a wide range of competences acquired through more than 20 years of experience from Pharma and life science projects and manufacturing. He has taken roles as Project User and Project lead in the process discipline, combining and working closely with automation and mech. discipline. Furthermore, Søren has taken roles of optimization lead in complex pharmaceutical processes and equipment.

Søren has also participated and taken responsibility in introducing and developing new technology and developing already existing processes. Søren has been responsible for installing and upgrading equipment in pharmaceutical production facilities. Søren has great experience introducing and developing new validation concepts in a leading pharmaceutical company.

Previously, he worked app. 2 years at NovoZymes A/S where Søren helped stabilizing a critical production line. Before Joining NovoZymes A/S Søren has been working 20 years in Novo Nordisk A/S taking up different roles.

Special Competences

  • Line & project execution within the life science industry. Project ranging from “napkin” idea to detailed design execution.
  • Technology including extensive knowledge in: Filtration (UF, micro, nano, dynamic etc), Centrifugation, Column processes, lyophilization, evaporation, and numerous other pharma/food processes. Working closely with vendors of new technology. Etc.
  • LEAN: Very experienced in: Systematic problem solving (facilitator), LEAN processes in general. Visualisation of processes.

Project Experience

  • New Utensile washers in running production – Capacity ramp up
  • Cleaning/Engineering specialist, Validation specialist.
    Complex scale up project in running production.
    Pharmaceutical company – 2022 ->Supplier contact collaboration. Qualification/Validation (cleaning)
  • Stability project on several enzyme products – Food/Feed
  • Process/product owner.
    Evaluation of consequences of existing process – what is leading to instability?
